I was at the office pantry making coffee just before midnight when one of the Team leaders stormed in and told our trainor (who was also in the pantry talking to me) that one of the trainees yelled at him and can he please just let him go.

Following him was the trainee, who looked fuming mad. I remember interviewing this trainee. I did not get him for my account because aside from the fact that he could not speak good english, he scared the hell out of me. There was just something about him that spelled t-r-o-u-b-l-e.

I was on my way back to my room when I passed by the TL, the trainee and the trainor. The TL was yelling and pointing at the trainee. The trainee, pointed his finger at the TL and said:

"Don't you ever... [pause]... finger me!"

I ran back to my room, laughing. Suddenly, I didn't need that cup of coffee anymore!

I have been working the night shift for 2 weeks now. I thought I would get used to it. Thought I might actually end up liking it.

But I digress.

I soooo hate it.

I hate the fact that my son wakes up without me. And because I want to spend every waking minute with him, I don't get enough sleep during the day. I'm lucky if I get 5 hours of sleep.

And for the first time in I don't know how long, my skin is breaking out.

Thankfully, I'm only stuck with this schedule until the end of the month.

Ugh.

WHY IT'S ALL WORTH IT

Who knew Senator Dick Gordon was funny?

He was talking to Jun Lozada at the hearing today and he said, (not sure if these were his exact words but it went something like this)

"Hindi na nga niya naayos yung automated elections nung nasa Comelec pa siya tapos nakikisali pa siya sa ZTE (referring to former Comelec Chairman, Benjamin Abalos).

Aba! Mukhang nagiging COMMISSION on Elections nga."

I laughed so loud!  Nice.

Good luck to me, that is.

I was at work before 7am this morning. Two hours later, I get an email from my boss asking me to come to work tonight to interview new agents for the account I started handling last week because they need the additional agents on board Tuesday night (my boss congratulated me over the weekend--the client was so happy with the output, they decided to add more agents).  And this is on top of the 43 more agents I need to find for the new account that's starting on Feb. 25 (yes, our company landed the account I blogged about).

I left the office before 3pm, stopped by Cityland Pasong Tamo to request copies of my sister's NMAT results (Francine, if you're reading this, they wanted me to wait 2 hours for the copies so I will just come back for it tomorrow).

I was home by 4pm. Played with Joaquin and we decided to take a nap at 5pm.

But I could not sleep. Was thinking about setting up a meeting with the choir I am getting for the wedding.  

My bridal bouquet was also on my mind.  Gerbera daisies are my favorite flowers but I don't think they would look good with a wedding gown so I will just go for peonies.  Or are carnations better?

Looked at my son and said, "Buti pa si Joaquin, nakatulog na..."

Thought about how to get past the level I am stuck in Downstream Panic! (new favorite game on my PSP)

Questioned why I couldn't sleep and how I would make it through the night in the office without it.

Asked myself what I should make for dinner-- if I really can't sleep.  If I end up sleeping, Luisa has to cook dinner.

I could not get some shuteye.

So, I ended up cooking dinner.  My pork adobo is simmering as I type. (obvious na tinatamad?)  I am also watching Senator Jinggoy Estrada interrograte NAIA's security chief and I am finding this sooo darn funny.  

So there. I have to be back in the office at around 10:30pm.  Hopefully, I'll be done by 2 or 3am.

Cleto: I have no idea.
Me: So, how are you and your girlfriend?
Cleto: We're so good. So far.

I woke up this morning, touched my tummy and said, "There is absolutely no excuse for this belly!"

So after I don't know how long, I went out for a morning jog. Brought my camera along just in case I find something nice to take a photo of. I ended up taking pictures of flowers!
