The ONLY two photographers I want for my wedding are a little out of budget. However, photography is sooo important to me so I am still trying to see if I can squeeze their rates into our very tight budget.

Mangored's photos are exactly how I want my wedding pictures to come out. Completely unconventional.

Metro Photo on the other hand, is still very classic but artsy. It also helps that their service is more personal (Oly, the chief artist, went out of his way to say that my email made him laugh a bit and that he was happy I loved their work). AND, they promised me a trash the dress session after the reception!

Mangored or Metro Photo?

Wait, hanap muna ako ng budget :)

P.S.
If you guys can recommend anyone, it would be appreciated :)

the one that i love, but is completely out of the queston (kasi out of budget!) is mimi and karl abesamis of fotogra.

in my list is Terry Uy (terryuy.com) and Edwin Tuyay. I'll also have Patrick Martires who will take only B/W shots (he only works as a back up photog kasi he works alone)

just realized tho (after looking at the site of your preferred photogs) that we are total opposites in taste :p i would never consider them kasi i want the classic and typical look - in fact if possible i'd ahve all photos in B/W :)

BUT if for the sake of helping you make a decision, I'd vote for mangoRED.

Bea, I like Mimi and Karl also. They really pay a lot of attention to detail.

Edwin Tuyay is GOOD! but expensive!!! :)

re: Edwin. Is he? Isn't he the same rate as Terry Uy?
I'll double check...

This was his reply to my inquiry:

"I have 3 packages for photo only; from 65K-85K-120k, but I can also work within your budget basta no video ha"

Mahal.

i like mangored, but metro photo is what's standing out the most for me. i like the freshness and artsy fartsy of mangored. while i didn't see the rest of their portfolio, what i saw reminds me of some of the proposal brochures i put together for our office. it's fun though. they are different, and great! ill shut up now and vote for MetroPhoto. =P

I take it back... go for metrophoto! :) Galing niya or nila! :D -shine

Right now, I am more inclined to get Metrophoto. While a good photographer is vital, chemistry with the photographer/s is more important. And I have that with Metrophoto--based on emails pa lang ha :)

that is great, Buns! i hope everything goes well.

my vote: metrophoto
it's something in between traditional & contemporary.
I guess it is more important that the photog captures the moments and real emotions of a day you would want to cherish. they should document THE event rather than fully orchestrating for the sake of a good album. i think the metro has the right blend of art and traditional coverage.

wait wait. you can have all this artsy-fartsy nice photoshoot even while already married...bakit ang laki laki ng gastos to do it before a wedding...P 120K??? wow, trip to Paris na yun.

spend all the money for your guests and your honeymoon...pakialamero ba...

my vote is Foto Me...or yung kay Bongbong Marcos, yung Foto Bongbong...

seriously, i like them both (showbiz answer)

To everyone: I'm choosing Metro Photo :) Will try to negotiate with the terms of payment para hindi masyado mabigat pocket :)

Junnie: HILARIOUS! :)

i was about to say metrophoto. glad you made that choice, buns!

mangored is too artsy fartsy. if its a wedding shoot, it sort fo still has to look that way and not like a magazine spread eh. guess i'm more traditional lang.

both are good tho. :)
